iHear's community outreach program advocates for hearing health and wellness through educational seminars and workshops. In collaboration with CAPA-MC (Chinese American Parents Association of Montgomery County) and funded by AAHI (Asian American Health Initiative), we advance our mission of communication inclusivity across diverse communities.

Our Mission
The mission of iHear is to promote inclusive communication by providing free, individualized communication support for students with hearing or communication needs. iHear also works to raise awareness of hearing health by hosting educational seminars to engage the broader community. Through direct student support and community education, iHear aims to reduce communication barriers and promote more inclusive learning environments.

Another metric used to evaluate iHear's success is community awareness of hearing wellness and inclusive communication. iHear focuses on this goal by holding multiple hearing health and wellness seminars in the local community, educating the community about communication barriers and how to support family or friends who have them.
